I don't have any experience with AMD, so I can't say anything about the
MMX they are using. I've a P166MMX from Intel and I'm running one program
that really uses the MMX technology. OTOH the MMX chip from Intel also
does some things better (i.e. faster) without using MMX. They just cleaned
up the chip a bit.

Of course it's your choice, but I would advise you to buy what Daniel
advises, and for the same reason. If only AMD had selled them a bit
earlier... ;-)
