This is the International Free Software Convention, held for the
fourth time at Porto Alegre, a southern city in Brazil. Many
international organizations are expected to be represented
by talks, presentations and workshops, like GNOME, LTSP, MySQL, Linux
Journal and others.
Debian Involvement
The Debian Project will be represented by almost all Brazilian
developers, by Debian-BR project and nearly all the state Debian Users
Groups (mainly
Debian-RS from
Southern Brazil and
Debian-SP
from Sao Paulo). Bdale Garbee and Wichert Akkerman will also give a
talk.
